BETHLEHEM, PA (June 29, 2020) – Lisa Meszler Lyon of ALT Realty of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, recently represented the sellers of two area commercial properties totaling more than $1.7 million and the buyers of a multi-unit property in Allentown.

The properties:

  1. 6305 Route 309 in New Tripoli is a 10,457-squre-foot commercial property that was purchased for $837,500.
  2. 1534 W. Broad Street in Quakertown is a Class B, 5,655-square-foot office building that was purchased for $900,000.
  3. 387 Chew Street in Allentown is a 2,356-square-foot, 2-unit building with garage that was purchased by Infinite Property Group for $152,000.

“Dawn Gilley, a broker for Re/Max Centre, called me about 1534 W. Broad for her buyers, who needed to fulfill their 1031 exchange. Once we had an agreement on that property, she asked me to help find a second asset to complete their 1031 exchange needs,” says Lyon, Commercial Specialist, ALT Realty.  “After working with the owner of 6305 Route 309, we were able to close both properties on the same day and meet the 1031 exchange fulfillment a week before the deadline.

“For the Chew Street property, we were under agreement prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, and we had hurdles to get over in order to close the deal,” says Lyon. “Settlement was delayed for a month due to the pandemic, but my team worked diligently to reconcile any issues to complete the transaction.”
